I had my 2005 Toyota matrix starter replaced. The service was very good - received calls and the work was done day of. I was not happy with how much I was charged for a starter - $267. This seemed excessive considering refurbished starters go for around $75 and new around $125. Wondering why the huge upcharge?

James, thank you for the review. Yes you can buy the starter cheaper at a parts house, basically you are cutting out the middle man in the process, we have to make a profit to stay in business. If you check on any website like repair pal, they can give you a price range for having someone do the job. Our prices are within the range that you would pay for retail work, whereas when you buy the part you are paying wholesale for the part.

These people are amazing; they're friendly and honest. I am visiting from out of state, with a huge complicated widespread family agenda, and they got me in, put me in a very decent loaner vehicle -- $20.00 -- and I was back in my vehicle the very next morning! I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Fantastic service! I took my car in for an exhaust leak and a tie rod replacement that I was told it needed. After the initial inspection I was told the good news that it was only my exhaust leak, the tie rods were fine. They proceed with the exhaust repair very quickly and well within a fair cost. I will definitely be utilizing their services in the future.
